By providing a phone number through the SecureKey Services, the company and its users (“End-Users”) expressly consent to receive SMS (Short Message Service) messages, including but not limited to One-Time Passwords (OTP) and account-related notifications.
Purpose of SMS Notifications
The phone number provided will be used to deliver OTPs necessary for multi-factor authentication and to send important notifications related to the security and management of the Account. These messages are essential for the functionality and security of the Services.
Frequency and Cost of Messages
SMS messages will be sent as needed based on the company’s or End-User’s interaction with the Services, such as when logging in, resetting passwords, or receiving account alerts. Standard messaging rates may apply as determined by the End-User’s mobile carrier. SecureKey is not responsible for any charges that may be incurred from receiving SMS messages.
Opting Out
If a company or End-User wishes to opt out of receiving SMS notifications, they may do so by contacting SecureKey support or responding “STOP” to any message received. However, opting out may limit access to certain Services that rely on OTPs for secure authentication.
